Migraines

Tension type headaches are the most common types of headache, and stress is a common cause of muscle tension. The pain of a cervicogenic headache begins one one side of the neck and then spreads to the temple, forehead and eye regions.

We also understand that concussions, intracranial hypertension, Chiari, and cerebrospinal fluid leaks can cause debilitating headaches, and can trigger a migraine headache. Regardless of the cause headaches make it difficult to think, work, sleep, and play.

If you have a headache we would like to decrease or resolve the intensity, frequency and/or duration of your headaches. We may use dry needling, gentle exercise, meditation techniques, deep breathing, and manual lymphatic drainage to improve your function, mobility, and quality of life.
